For the Interreg V-A Latvia-Lithuania Programme 2014-2020 implementation purposes the Managing Authority as controller uses recorded and stored in the electronic Monitoring System data and documents which may contain personal data for monitoring, evaluation, financial management, verification and audit purposes. The legal basis for data processing is Art.6, point e) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).
